Contractor Authorization Form

By registering as a Contractor on TapACrew and checking the box below, I acknowledge: 1. I am at least 18 years old and have authority to hire Workers on behalf of the business or person identified on my TapACrew profile. 2. I AUTHORIZE my use of the Platform to post jobs, send offers, and hire Workers. 3. FOR EACH OFFER I SEND, I COMMIT TO PAY the agreed amount for completed work. I have the funds available to fulfill this commitment. 4. I am solely responsible for: - Classifying Workers correctly (1099 independent contractor vs W-2 employee) - Issuing Form 1099-NEC to Workers paid $600+ in a calendar year - Compliance with OSHA and site safety laws - Compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws - Non-discrimination in hiring 5. I will not circumvent the TapACrew payment system or solicit Workers off-platform to avoid fees. 6. I RELEASE TapACrew from any claims arising from Worker performance, misrepresentations, injuries, or property damage. 7. I INDEMNIFY TapACrew against claims by Workers, property owners, or third parties arising from my jobs. 8. Non-payment of Workers may result in account suspension, legal action by the Worker, mechanic's liens against my property, and damage to my reputation. 9. TapACrew is NOT financially responsible for any aspect of the work or my obligations to Workers. 10. This authorization is governed by the TapACrew Terms of Service and User Agreement, which I have read and accepted.
