- Identity verification documents (through Stripe Identity)
- Payment information (handled by Stripe; we do not store full card or bank numbers)
- Uploaded documents: licenses, certifications, insurance, W-9, etc.
- Communications: messages, job descriptions, reviews, dispute info
- Content you post: job listings, profile photos, reviews
Information Collected Automatically
- Device info: browser type, operating system, IP address
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, clicks
- Cookies (essential only; we do not use advertising trackers)
Information From Third Parties
- Identity verification results from Stripe Identity
- Payment processing information from Stripe
- Email delivery information from our email provider

4. How We Share Information
With Other Users
Your profile information (name, bio, skills, ratings, reviews) is visible to other Users as part of the marketplace. Contact information is not shared unless you agree through in-platform messaging or offers.
With Service Providers
- Stripe — for payment processing and identity verification
- Supabase — for data hosting and authentication
- Email providers — for transactional emails
For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information to comply with laws, respond to subpoenas or court orders, protect rights and safety, or investigate fraud.
WE DO NOT SELL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION to third parties.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
- Access controls and authentication
- Private storage buckets for sensitive documents
- Row-level security in our database

Account information is retained while your account is active. Payment and tax records are retained for at least 7 years as required by law. Verification documents may be retained for legal recordkeeping.

Our legal bases include contract performance, legitimate interests (platform operation, fraud prevention), consent, and legal obligations.
