Worker Authorization Form

By registering as a Worker on TapACrew and checking the box below, I acknowledge: 1. I am at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States. 2. I AUTHORIZE Contractors on TapACrew to extend work offers to me through the Platform. 3. I am an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR, not an employee of TapACrew or of any Contractor who hires me through the Platform. 4. I am solely responsible for my own federal, state, and local taxes, including self-employment tax. TapACrew does not withhold taxes. 5. I hold (or will obtain) all required licenses, certifications, and insurance for the trades I list on my profile. 6. I will perform work competently, safely, and in compliance with applicable laws (OSHA, building codes, etc.). 7. I UNDERSTAND that when I confirm job completion, I will be required to sign a LIEN WAIVER acknowledging payment in full and waiving mechanic's lien rights. 8. I RELEASE TapACrew from any claims arising from work performed, disputes with Contractors, or injuries sustained in the course of my work. 9. TapACrew is NOT financially responsible for payment, Contractor conduct, or any dispute between me and a Contractor. 10. This authorization is governed by the TapACrew Terms of Service and User Agreement, which I have read and accepted.
